Long dresses for women – Stylish & easy to move around in for people with mobility impairments
One women’s fashion trend that’s really endured down the years are dresses. Formal or casual occasions, the dress makes for a perfect look. You can go for the short above the knee length if you like or the long flowy ones if that works better for you.
Today we are featuring long dresses which are in trend in a big way especially for women in wheelchairs or with mobility challenges.
Bhavna Sharma, Inclusion Strategist with NewzHook loves to wear dresses with no zips or hooks. Bhavna is wearing a bright pink dress with long sleeves and a V neck.
“I choose long dresses with no zips or hooks because they are easy to wear. I don’t have to wear anything below like a churidar and can walk around in them easily with my stick. When I wear a churidar or salwar, the stick gets caught in the folds sometimes. It is also easy for me to wear my shoes and take them off and going to the washroom in a dress, especially while traveling is so convenient”.
All good reasons to invest in a dress we think, so here are some patterns all less than ₹ 1,500.
